This is probably my favorite out of all of Theo's books! Mer World Problems depicts the every day problems mermaids have in the deep blue sea. Whether it be not fitting in with the freshies, or having bad "shell service", it seems Theo really understands what mermaids go through. Maybe she secretly is one, and if that's the case I want to be her new best friend LOL. Let's dive into this review shall we!

**Click the photos to bring you to the product to purchase :)** I was so excited to receive this book from Theo. I had seen previews of some of the pages, but those didn't do the book any justice. When I started flipping through the pages, I was literally laughing out loud. Theo has quite the imagination and that imagination made one entertaing colouring book! As a bonus, I'll be reviewing Cretacolor's Karmina colored pencils! They went extremely well in this book and I was very satsified with their quality. You'll definitely be adding both of these to your shopping carts once you finish this review :D VS In a head to head battle, I'm putting Faber Castell Polychromos and Prismacolor Premier pencils up against each other in the most comprehensive review you have ever seen, and hopefully in doing this, I can show you the pros and cons of each pencil, while ultimately supporting my opinion of which is a better quality pencil. I have no affiliation with either company. This is purely my opinion and my personal preference, however the pictures and explanations you will read and see are factual unbiased results and evidence about each pencil brand. Faber-Castell had sent me their 60 set of Polychromos pencils to work with, and while I already had Prismacolor pencils, this review is completely unbiased. Each pencil has their strengths, however there is an obvious winner coming out of this review. Here we go!
Within this colouring book lies over 50 images of nature waiting to be coloured in! From flowers to sea creatures, De-ann Black brings us hours of relaxation. The theme of this colouring book is based on several of her books including The Flower Hunter’s Cottage, The Beemaster’s Cottage, The Tea Shop, Faeriefied, Poison-Wynd Moths, The Sewing Bee By The Sea and Champagne Chic Lemonade Money. Hand drawn, Black joins artists like Marotta and Basford in the simple yet effective pen and ink technique. When I saw someone's page from Cara Stein's book, it was gorgeous work. I liked the style of incorporating words and inspirational sayings on one side, with a nicely drawn picture on the other. The cover is extremely attractive to the eye as well. Most of the illustrations within are dainty, ornate spaces, so you'll definitely need some sharp pencils or fineliners to tackle this book! The paper is a bit on the toothier thin side, so make sure to put a scrap piece of paper in between pages to prevent bleedthrough if using markers, but I recommend pencils for this book. Here's a note from the author herself!--- "I had such a great time creating this book. Like many people, I wanted to buy Johanna Basford's Secret Garden, but it was out of print--along with pretty much every other adult coloring book. So I thought, why not create my own? I used to write a lot on personal development, and many people have said that my book, How to be Happy helped them a lot, so I decided to incorporate some of the same themes into this [colouring] book. I knew I didn't want to have designs on the backs of the pages, so instead of leaving the backs blank, I decided to add a little inspiration in the form of quotes and questions to ponder as you color. At the time when I was working on this book, I knew a lot of people who were hurting, lost, confused, or simply stressed to the max. I was grieving at the time myself--my former boyfriend had passed away about two months earlier. This is the book that I needed to help me heal and get back to my center. I hope it will help others do the same. But even if there's nothing more to it than coloring pretty pictures, that's great, too! I hope you enjoy it! I included a range of images from simple to intricate, so hopefully any time you sit down to color, you can find something that's just right for your mood. Happy coloring! Also, in case anyone is interested, my book, How To Be Happy is free on Kindle!" -Cara I wont keep you guys waiting any longer! Here's a sneak peek! You can purchase Relax and Color on Amazon! Thank you to Cara for sending me her book for review as well as a Congrats to Barb DeWilde for winning the second copy she sent me in Colour Your World's first National Coloring Book Day giveaway! Being this is labeled as Volume 1, I have a feeling there will be more to come from Ms. Stein!
