**Click each picture to bring you to the product on Amazon (US)** Anastasia Catris, a freelance illustrator from Wales, has brought us a trilogy of conveniently sized colouring books, perfect for travel. For every book, I'll be including a Staedtler product that was given to me for review as well. These books are perfect for fineliners and felt tips and the Underwater themed one is my favorite out of all three books so I'll be doing this combination together in one awesomely colourful review!

These were my first set of artist grade alcohol markers that I've ever worked with so I don't really have anything to compare them to since I've never used Copics, Promarkers, ect. However, they have a huge variety of colours and the shades are quite nice when laid down on paper. A property of alcohol based markers that I've come to find is that they seem to leave a seamless swatch of colour when applied to paper because of the quick drying time and you can't see overlapping lines, liek you do when you use water based markers. There are many sets you can buy, such as Earth tones, Skin tones, Classic colors, and Home/Fashion, as well as having the ability to buy them separately. Here I have the Trend Colors 2015 set of 12 that I'll be showing you. I may or may not be partial to Selina Fenech's colouring books, being that I'm literally obsessed with mermaids, but the amount of talent she has in lush hair and shiny scales is brilliant and I absolutely LOVE this book. She captures the beauty of these creatures of the sea in the conventional way we envision a mermaid, as well as the the not so conventional. And she does it tastefully and beautifully. This is also my first review that has a bonus product review, as I received Mermaids: Calm Ocean Coloring Collection and a coloured pencils set that Ohuhu sent me for review. I figured I would give them a whirl in Selina's book to see how they went, and am I glad I did! And they were really just lovely in this book! Koh-I-Noor was kind enough to send me three of their best selling products for review, all three spectacular for colouring! The Tri-Tone Pencils, which give a cool effect of three shades blended together, woodless pencils, and the artist grade Polycolor pencils (probably my favorite out of all three!)

The "Colorista"I'm Kourtney, and I'm a mother of two litle girls and the wife of a Navy sailor. I review colouring books and products for publishers and art supply companies to give my Coloristas a guide to buying and growing their collections. And of course I love to colour any chance I get (mostly when the kids are asleep!)
