**Click each picture to bring you to the product on Amazon (US)** Anastasia Catris, a freelance illustrator from Wales, has brought us a trilogy of conveniently sized colouring books, perfect for travel. For every book, I'll be including a Staedtler product that was given to me for review as well. These books are perfect for fineliners and felt tips and the Underwater themed one is my favorite out of all three books so I'll be doing this combination together in one awesomely colourful review! Colour Me Mindful: Underwater features gorgeous illustrations of ocean creatures and fauna. From seashells, to the lucid octopus to the graceful sea turtle, this book will give you hours of enjoyment. The paper is of decent quality, bright white, and thick enough to where my pens did not bleed through to the next image (books are double sided prints). With intricate details within the images, these pages are waiting for bright, vibrant colour. Which is why I decided to use my trusty Staedtler fineliners. With a .3mm nib, they are perfect for staying inside the lines of small nooks and crannies, while my Triplus fibre tips allowed me to cover larger areas, avoiding a scartchy look you can get when using a tiny nib. Here's a sneak peek into the book! Staedtler also has a good range of colours to choose from. There's the 20 packs of each of the fibre tips and fineliners, as well as 3 separate fineliner sets of Neon, Pastel, and Nature colours. As you can see in the colour chart where I circled, the Triplus Fibre tips and Triplus Fineliners don't have the same shades. The Fineliners have one more blue and gray, while the Fibre tips have one more green and brown shade, giving you 4 different shades within those two sets. Including all the sets, Staedtler has a total of 40 shades of colours, however I hear that they are working on expanding their count to 150 colours. Fingers crossed it's true! It's good to have both the fineliners and the fibre tips for a couple reasons, one being the nibs help you colour different sized areas. Here's the difference in the tips.... Colour Me Mindful and Steadtler pens go together like bread and butter! Definitely worth splurging for if you have other books with tiny details as well, like Secret Garden and Enchanted Forest. Preorder Anastasia's books NOW on Amazon, releasing here in the U.S on August 25th!

The "Colorista"I'm Kourtney, and I'm a mother of two litle girls and the wife of a Navy sailor. I review colouring books and products for publishers and art supply companies to give my Coloristas a guide to buying and growing their collections. And of course I love to colour any chance I get (mostly when the kids are asleep!)
