Volume 1
Her first book is full of strangely pretty alien-like girls whose heads are clearly too big for their bodies. Reminds me of Hey Arnold (haha!) They're simply drawn and yet they make such a loud statement on the paper. A girl with a fish on her head, another wrapped in a flamingo, and even a mermaid make a debut in this book. Myers-Cho's imagination definitely ran wild with these illustrations! Not to mention, they're a blast to colour. You can do so much with them! Colour black hair with purple streaks for a dark gothic look, or create a pale-skinned blonde. My only wish would have been for the paper to be thicker. It kind of wrinkles up on you with markers and will bleed through so be sure to include a piece of paper in between pages. Take a look into Jacqueline's Coloring Book--- |
