Nick Dolan, aka "Vegenaut", is the wacky genius behind this super different and quirky colouring book! Explore the 74 pages of abstract illustrations that almost look like they're made out of noodles! Remember making macaroni masks when you were a kid?! This book definitely brings me back. Vegebook is screaming for bright, vivid colours, so let's do just that! When I opened the book, I immediately felt that the paper was a bit on the thin side and was sad because I had my heart dead set on using markers. I was quickly uplifted again when I saw it was single sided prints! Which meant I could use my markers to get that bold, bright colour I really wanted to achieve in this book! Especially with the detail of the images, fineliners will be your best friend with this book, otherwise be prepared to sharpen those pencils over and over again! You get completely lost in the page that you're colouring, finding patterns and shapes that you create with the colours you choose along the way. It's extremely relaxing, and I can definitely say I felt "veged" out after I was done. Let's take a sneak peek in to this curious book.... This is quite the engaging book, and I love the robot/monster type pages! It's a great time to be had colouring in Nick's masterpieces! So if you have a love for detailed work and a creative, weird mind (like most of us in the world do, face it we're all a little weird lol), then pop over to Amazon and get the Vegebook: A Curious Coloring Book for Peculiar People. You won't be disappointed!

The "Colorista"I'm Kourtney, and I'm a mother of two litle girls and the wife of a Navy sailor. I review colouring books and products for publishers and art supply companies to give my Coloristas a guide to buying and growing their collections. And of course I love to colour any chance I get (mostly when the kids are asleep!)
