These were my first set of artist grade alcohol markers that I've ever worked with so I don't really have anything to compare them to since I've never used Copics, Promarkers, ect. However, they have a huge variety of colours and the shades are quite nice when laid down on paper. A property of alcohol based markers that I've come to find is that they seem to leave a seamless swatch of colour when applied to paper because of the quick drying time and you can't see overlapping lines, liek you do when you use water based markers. There are many sets you can buy, such as Earth tones, Skin tones, Classic colors, and Home/Fashion, as well as having the ability to buy them separately. Here I have the Trend Colors 2015 set of 12 that I'll be showing you. With a total of 174 colours, this is probably one of the larger sets of markers I've seen on the market! The colours are extremely unique and the colour names are fun too. The markers have two Japanese made tips---a broad chisel tip and a fine bullet nib, both of which are consistent in the same colour. Having the two different sized nibs makes it a breeze to cover larger work areas in an image as well as getting into the nooks and crannies of a picture. As a bonus, they also sent me their Shake It paint markers in the extra fine nibs. They're water based paint, lightfast, and waterproof, and they do not bleed through most of my books and it leaves a neat textured surface. You can use them not only on paper, but on wood, glass, canvas, and cardboard and they are available in 23 different colours. I love them for embellishing some of my colouring pages when I wasnt a little bit more texture to an area. I wasn't sent their blender so I can't comment on how they blend together, and I don't see alcholo markers working in any of my books, however I coloured a book mark I received from Book Depository and the colours come out vibrant and gorgeous. You can purchase some of their marker sets on Amazon or check out their website to see all that Graph'it has to offer--- http://www.graphit-marker.com/blog/category/graph-it-marker/ as well as the shops that sell their markers and products. Thank you to Graph'it for sending me their products for review!

The "Colorista"I'm Kourtney, and I'm a mother of two litle girls and the wife of a Navy sailor. I review colouring books and products for publishers and art supply companies to give my Coloristas a guide to buying and growing their collections. And of course I love to colour any chance I get (mostly when the kids are asleep!)
