If you love bold patterns and flowers, these books are definitely for you! Raegan Allred owns an ETSY shop called RedRae Designs, where she sells three lovely colouring books, Spiral Blossoms, Blackout Blooms, and Doodle Dreams, and I got the chance to review her first two! Spiral bound with thick card stock paper, and printed on one side (always a huge plus) these books are just waiting to be coloured in. Spiral books just make it so easy to colour, as you can tuck everything else under and you're able to focus on the picture at hand! It's especially convenient if you're traveling as well! You open the books to 16 beautifully illustrated images. I coloured my pages in Staedtler fineliners, American Craft markers, and Fantasia pencils and the paper shows the colour beautifully! The bold black lines and black backgrounds will really make the colour pop! Pencils I had a bit of a hard time with, as the stock is a bit on the glossy side and didn't show the true colour of the pencil, but it still looks nice! And of course with the heavy weight stock, there's no bleeding or smearing so I definitely will go with my markers for the rest of these gorgeous images. You can tell that these drawings were done with love and care. It shows throughout the entire book. Fingers crossed there's more of her books in the future! I am a huge fan. Her work is what has gotten me back into my "therapeutic" coloring. Glad her work is getting positive attention!

The "Colorista"I'm Kourtney, and I'm a mother of two litle girls and the wife of a Navy sailor. I review colouring books and products for publishers and art supply companies to give my Coloristas a guide to buying and growing their collections. And of course I love to colour any chance I get (mostly when the kids are asleep!)
